Thornton Group Ltd was formed in 2015 by two industry professionals who have gathered experience in a wide range of construction sectors. We aim to bring the 'large project' style of management expertise to the private individual and smaller scale developments. Using construction management methods, common place on large schemes, such as project programming, regular client meetings / evaluations, a strong emphasis on health and safety and a clean and tidy work environment. Thornton Group believe that this expertise can help to reassure the client during the build process and will be financially beneficial during the development without overly complicating what needs to be accomplished and will help to ensure the timely completion of your project. 

 Due to our wide range of knowledge Thornton Group can be appointed to carryout projects across a number of sectors.   Residential - ranging from full strip out, redesigns and rebuilds through to light alterations / refurbishment including carpentry, tiling, decorating and updating of existing finishes. Commercial - Work place remodeling, new partition walls, ceilings and floors including new kitchen areas with power and data relocations and changes to mechanical services to suit or just slight modernisation and light redecoration works. Management services - Implement management systems and provide expertise to other companies, architects or private individuals to assist with their existing projects. Carry out Quality Control inspections /snagging of finished works audits, provide labour and resources for customer after care on larger schemes, and carryout maintenance works over a long term period. Sub Contract - Tender for sub contract packages on large projects awarded to appointed main contractors.
Thornton Group can appoint architects, building surveyors and planners on your behalf as part of a service or we are equally happy to work in conjunction with or along side anyone appointed by you the client.  We specialise predominantly on internal works across these sectors and typical project durations range from 4 -16 weeks.  

Using our trusted team of skilled workers and sub contractors we will ensure projects are managed in the correct sequence to maximize time and ensure the end product /result is of the highest standard. All personel are highly qualified and will be in possession of a CSCS card or equivalent that ensures they are qualified to carryout the work they are doing. Our specialist trades people and subcontractors include Carpenters, Plasterers, Electricians, Mechanical/ Plumbers, Tilers, Painters and Decorators and flooring specialists.
